        A Digital Audit for your Recruitment Function

        Digital Audit for Recruitment – With the globalisation of the recruitment market providing greater access for employers to meet job-seeking candidates online combined with ever-improving AI sourcing tools and automation software, creating and improving your recruitment digital strategy is a necessity in 2021, to compete for real talent.

        Technology can be complicated, implementation and adaptation of new technologies are even more so. 

        Our advice! keep it simple and start with a digital audit (data & technology assessment)

        Take the following steps:

        • Ask, Is there a clear digital plan in place for your recruitment function/department? If not, simply put, then start one.
        • How is data and knowledge recorded, stored, and shared. Build a process around this with easy access online access for your stakeholders
        • Check out your direct competitors for ideas of how they recruit online via their website, social media, etc
        • Know your customer (Candidates you want to hire) ask similar employees in your business where they hang out (Online Facebook or LinkedIn etc) what they read and what groups they associate with)
        • Now, write down all your existing recruitment processes and rate the technology that supports each process (e.g your LinkedIn recruiter license, your CRM, your sourcing software, your website careers section etc)
        • Reach out to some key players/suppliers of recruitment CRMs, to see what solutions are on the market, that can address your needs. Leading recruitment agencies tend to use great technology, talk to your recruitment agency partners for the best advice.
        • Review and measure your recruitment costs and ROI on your digital spending.
        • Once you have mapped out your digital processes, agree on a plan to enhance and improve them. Buy-in from stakeholders is essential.
        • Complete at least 3 demos for every technology requirement such as a CRM, Job broadcaster, job-board, sourcing tool, and so on
        • Build a technology implementation plan to include ongoing training
        • Measure output
        • Keep reviewing your digital strategy.
